Decatur has lost a legend. Bob Fallstrom 66 years as Decatur's "man of the news". Reporter. Sports writer and editor. Lifestyle editor. Community news editor. A man who loved telling good news. A really great guy.   "The Most Influential Journalist in Decatur" http://redecatur.com/tag/bob-fallstrom/ (tribute by Bob Sampson) Thanks Mr. Fallstrom for your years of service to Decatur.

Hockeyville Celebration

Image
Nothing since the WSOY Community Food Drive last October ( http://picturedecatur.blogspot.com/2014/10/1-day-1-million-pounds.html ) has united the Decatur and Macon County community like the Kraft Hockeyville USA contest did this Spring. And although Decatur finished in 2nd place, we have absolutely nothing to be sad about.  Our community is strong.  Hold your heads high, Decatur.  We'll come back at them harder and stronger next year!
