This week, we feature "Lakeshore Landing", which is the project name of the massive renovation and revitalization of Nelson Park, along the shores of Lake Decatur.

Just a few of the great things coming to Nelson Park include:
- Dog Park (already open!)
- Frisbee Golf Course
- New Public Docks
- Renovation of The Beach House Restaurant
- "Great Lawn"
- Miniature Golf Course (to replace Paul's Puttin' Place)
- Water Park
- Amphitheater

Christ is the Answer Tent Revival

In 1972, Christ is the Answer Ministries visited Decatur Illinois, setting up their tent north of the Staley Viaduct:

In 2013, Christ is the Answer has returned to Decatur.  This time, Bill Lowery's team set-up on Pershing Road, in the vacant lot behind Taco Bell.

World War II Memorial

PICTURE DECATUR featured the World War 2 (WWII) Memorial in Decatur (Illinois) back in April on this post.
