Nick Beery Mural

The 3rd beautiful new mural painted in Decatur during 2017 is located in the 200 block of West Main Street (across from the Salvation Army).

Painted by Sullivan Illinois resident Nick Beery, the mural was inspired by the work of Fibonacci, an Italian mathematician.  The design is made up of a series of light, medium and dark shapes, based on a mathematical expression / pattern known as the "golden spiral".
